Nothing new

Hello to all.  Here are some pictures of us at the San Diego Zoo-a monthly event.  I have been to this zoo probably...20 times.  But I still love it.  It gets more fun every time I go because Aja actually gets into it.  So there is really nothing new at the Johnson household.   We both had to work Memorial day...Party!  But we had fun hanging out with friends the weekend before.  We have been playing a lot of Rock Band!  After Jared and Tracy's intro to the rockin' game we had some friends buy it, and we have been over there playing whenever we get a chance.  We are going to have to purchase it soon.  My family is coming this Friday and spending the week.   I am excited!  Always a blast to have family or friends come down here.  Hope everyone is doing great.  Happy Memorial day and soon to be Fathers day!

We just got home from a weekend of fun in St George.  Tracy and Jared met us there, we loved the meet in the middle thing.  Let's just say that the 6 hour drive was much better than the usual 11 hours, especially considering Aja was not the best road trip buddy.  The dudes went mountain biking every day, and Tracy and I went swimming with the kids.  Tracy and me did take a day off and went to get pedicures.  Ahhh, I could have one of those once a week.  We also played a lot of rock band.  I actually spent most my time at the drums, and Johns was loving the guitar (not a huge surprise).  The game kicked me off every time I played the guitar, so I left that to the pro.  And "In and Out" finally realized that it was cool enough for Utah.  It is slowly making its way up to SLC.  The St George "In and Out" was the busiest I have ever seen.  Utahns know a good thing when they see it.  It was perfect blue sky weather, with a temp of mid 80's.  Loved it!  And by the way, my child is not addicted to Dr. Pepper yet, she just loves the empty cans.

We went to the Red Bull Air Show down at the San Diego Bay.  It was amazing what these pilots could do.  We sat on the wet beach on Coronado and of course forgot chairs.  So we improvised and bought plastic bags to sit on from the grocery store.  Completely worth it, we had an amazing view.  It was incredible!

Aja and I went to the zoo a few days ago.  I am getting anxious for that time when we go to the zoo and she actually is excited to see what we are there for, the animals!  She is much more interested in the people there (especially the kids) and what is on the menu.  This little lady is eating so much lately.  I cannot keep up with her appetite.  I had to fill the cup in her stroller with food the whole time or she would let me scream at me letting me know I was not doing my job.  I am wondering if it feels good on her gums because she is starting to get her molars.  She also has started this new death defying activity where she stands up in the stroller while I am pushing it.  I have had to start strapping her in.  Which she is a huge fan of.  So while she was standing up in the stroller trying to break her neck and of course eating at the same time, I was pretending to be a professional photographer.  My friend let me borrow her really nice Canon, she really is a photographer.  And I have loved playing around with it.  Which means I take way to many pics.  One problem, now I want to buy a really nice camera.  If you don't know what your missing, you never want it.  Right?  Too late for that.  It is much more fun taking pictures with a nice camera.  We also went to the Red Bull Air Show yesterday.  I am going to let Johns update you on that.  It was amazing!
